The House Up Lagos competition has officially launched, inviting architects, designers, and engineers from across Nigeria to submit innovative housing solutions designed for Lagos' unique urban challenges.
The competition seeks to address the city's growing housing deficit by crowdsourcing creative, cost-effective designs that can be implemented at scale.
Participants are challenged to design self-contained living units that can be constructed for under ₦500,000 per unit, demonstrating that quality housing can be delivered at scale without compromising on safety, comfort, or aesthetics.
Winners will receive cash prizes, scholarships, and the opportunity to work with Rhema Project to implement their designs in real-world pilot projects across Lagos State.
